Be careful what you put on social media, you can get fired

Do you often share your feeling about your workplace environment on social media?

Are your tweets, Facebook posts, and WhatsApp statuses defamatory?

Attorney Natasha Moni tells Africa Melani on the Eusebius McKaiser show that employers can fire employees for defamatory tweets.

What people don't understand, unlike saying something in anger a tweet, a WhatsApp, a Facebook post really takes more intention than just saying something. It means you have to type something and push that button to send and that the difference. In the workplace, it may get you fired.
