Former Public Investment Corporation (PIC) CEO Dr Dan Matjila has told the commission investigating the corporation of how political moves were made to capture the PIC.
Matjila cited political interference making the environment difficult to work in.
He was the CEO of the PIC for four years but resigned after numerous allegations of corruption.
Clement Manyathela speaks to Eyewitness News reporter Kgomotso Modise on the proceedings on at the inquiry.

He has given a very powerful statement saying all these in and outs after the resignation of President Mbeki where we saw the change in finance ministers and deputy misters, he says he believes all this merry-go-round were driven by the same motive to get control of the piggyback that is the PIC.
