Is 'untouchable' Malema headed to jail, asks AfriForum

AfriForum has outlined the three cases over which it wants EFF leader Julius Malema prosecuted.

The cases date back 8 years and pertain to:

  1. The On-Point Engineering tender scandal

  2. An assault case - relating to an incident in April 2018

  3. The irregular use of a firearm - Malema allegedly fired shots during an EFF event in the Eastern Cape.

It's not about Mr. Malema as a person, but it's about the fact nobody should be above the law.

Kallie Kriel, CEO - AfriForum

Kriel accused the National Prosecuting Authority of 'dragging their feet' in respect of a prima facie case against Malema.

Is it for political reasons, are they scared of Mr. Malema?
