Zuma supporters urge ANC to probe spy accusations

The Radical Economic Transformation Champions, supporters of former president Jacob Zuma, have called on the African National Congress (ANC) to probe allegations that senior members within the party were spies during the apartheid era.

Speaking to supporters after his appearance before the Zondo Commission on Monday, Zuma said three intelligence organisations had conspired to assassinate his character because he had knowledge of spies planted within the party.

Nkosentsha Shezi from the Radical Economic Transformation Champions says the allegations should be attended to speedily.

One must understand the seriousness of the issue of spies within the ANC.
