We want to fight intimidation, particularly on those who are at the forefront of fighting against corruption. We will fight for them.

A meeting is scheduled for Sunday in Johannesburg.

We are asking all progressive South Africans who don't want to be intimidated and want to fight state capture and corruption to attend in their numbers.

Solly Mapaila, First deputy general secretary - SACP

Mapaila speaks out against any form of intimidation.

We are saying it doesn't matter who is stealing, whether it is a black man who is stealing, we must condemn them. If it is a white man, we must condemn them. We don't want anyone to steal from the public purse and we don't want those fighting corruption to be intimidated.
