Gauteng MEC for Infrastructure Development in Tasneem Motara says a team has been put together to address some of the challenges raised by protesting Lenasia South residents.
On Friday, angry community members protested over what they called the illegal mushrooming of informal structures in the area, leading to a confrontation with the alleged invaders.
Motara says the situation is complex as both communities [residents and invaders] have legitimate issues.
