[WATCH] Amanda Black on her upcoming album

South African singer Amanda Black is set to release her second album in October this year.

It's been two years since her last offering Amazulu.

The singer joined Azania Mosaka for this week's #702Unplugged to talk about what she says has been a period of growth and what you can expect from her new body of work.

The sound has grown in itself, my songwriting has also grown because I was a very nervous songwriter when I released Amazulu. I definitely have grown and evolved in the way I express myself - how I interpret the world, how I experience life now.

Amanda Black, singer

It is still the Amanda Black that I feel like I introduced with Amazulu but it definitely is a step up.
