Maxi-Cosi emphasises the importance of car seats

Leading up to the International Child Passenger Safety week observed on the 9 to16 of September, Maxi-Cosi is embarking on a campaign to educate parents on the importance of car seats for their children.

Studies show that only 7% of South African children are secured in car seats when travelling.

This has resulted in thousands of horrific deaths every year.

John Maytham speaks to Maxi-Cosi national sales manager Mohammed Kaka about the importance of car seats.

Statistically, we find that the injuries or fatalities for children aged three to nine is exceptionally high and nothing is being done about it.
