'We want the students to verify their scripts on their own'

Students at the University of South Africa (Unisa) are not happy about their examination results and want the university to address their concerns.

Bongani Bingwa chats to the university Student Representative Council (SRC) president Wadzanai Mazhethese on the matter.

We have had challenges with our results this past semester and there has been many complaints and queries to the university.

Wadzanai Mazhethese, President - Unisa SRC

He says because this problem is prevalent, students want the university to provide them with examination scripts to verify the discrepancies themselves.

We had a nine-hour long meeting with the university yesterday, and the university is resisting to give students back their exam scripts. We want the students to verify their scripts on their own.
