Jiba challenges Mokgoro report, wants it set aside and declared unlawful
Former deputy prosecutions boss Nomgcobo Jiba has filed an application with the Western Cape High Court to review and set aside Justice Yvonne Mokgoro's report which found she was unfit for office.
President Cyril Ramaphosa axed Jiba in April based on the findings and recommendations of the inquiry led by Mokgoro.
In a letter to Parliament, Jiba’s lawyer Zola Majavu asked for confirmation that the process related to her be suspended until her review process was concluded.
Clement Manyathela on the Xolani Gwala Show chats to Majavu.
