[LISTEN] First in Africa: Lira honoured with Barbie doll lookalike

Musician Lira has been immortalised in plastic: she recently became the first African woman to have a Barbie doll modelled in her likeness.

Speaking to Azania Mosaka, Lira says she had to keep the secret for three months.

This is something that was not on my vision board but it is very affirming.

The first thing that blew me away was the hair. The only thing I said to them was that I need a little more lip and that is the only adjustment I made.
