1000 Men's March to raise awareness against gender-based violence a success

In commemoration of Women's Day, the City of Joburg Health and Social Development MMC Dr Mpho Phalatse led the 1000 Men's March in Alexandra.

The aim of the march is to raise awareness against gender-based violence against women and children.

To discuss the march, Joanne Joseph chats to the MMC.

The march was very successful and we are happy about the outcome. We raised awareness and marched in the township to tell men about joining a men's forum.
