Jenna Lowe's mother, Gabi Lowe, has captured her daughter's life story in a memoir Get Me to 21: The Jenna Lowe Story.
The LeadSA activist died in 2015 after battling a rare degenerative lung disease.
Lowe joined Azania Mosaka in studio to share the inspiration behind the book and her own journey to healing.

It is not just a story about rare disease and organ donation, it is a story about life, it is a story about how to face adversity and challenge. It is a story about how to stand up and fight for what you need and how to carry on living in the face of death.— Gabi Lowe, Jenna Lowe's mother
