ACDP claims new sex education program promotes oral sex to pre-teens

The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) is opposing the introduction of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in schools next year.

Although some are of the belief that the curriculum could be empowering and relevant for both learners and teachers, the ACDP strongly disagrees.

The party has given the Department of Basic Education until Friday to respond to its demands of scrapping and removing the program from all schools.

It would be a step in the right direction if the CSE curriculum would mitigate against unsafe practices. In fact, if one digs a little deeper into the CSE program one would find that it actually does the opposite.
