Moleboheng Lekgema is one of many youth who have been afforded the opportunity to enter the working world with the help of the Youth Employment Service (YES).

Lekgema is whale time guide, raising awareness around the mammals.

She joined the YES programme in March this year.

Lekgema believes the YES programme is a great opportunity and has improved the way she views life.

The YES programme has really opened up my eyes to opportunities from not just getting a job but creating jobs, how to manage the enterprise and the business and so forth.

I have actually had the opportunity of being part of a whale festival. I have also had the opportunity of being apart of the Business Indaba event that happened earlier in the year.
