The Democratic Alliance will be electing its new federal council chairperson over the weekend.

Eusebius McKaiser says the race for the Democratic Alliance (DA) federal council chairperson is too close to call.

He says none of the candidates has the guts to say that the point of redress is to restore the dignity of black people.

Helen Zille, Athol Trollip, Mike Waters and Thomas Walters are gunning for the top position.

The party will elect the party’s new federal council chairperson this weekend.

The sad thing for the DA is whoever takes over from James Selfe is a poor choice and less than an ideal perfect choice.
