YES beneficiary says he has learnt to be more business-minded

Sbongiseni Diedricks has improved his life through the Youth Unemployment Service (YES), saying it has given him financial independence and opened his mind to new business opportunities.

The 24-year-old Diedricks joined the programme in April this year and currently works as an assistant operator at Widlands Recycling depot.

With this experience, Diedricks says he has learnt to be more business-minded and is currently working on a project with his friend.

He joined Joanne Joseph on the Afternoon Drive to share more about how he joined the programme, as well as how it has changed his life.

I first heard about the programme from one of my friends and from there we decided to try our luck.
