[LISTEN] Why taking a gap year is a good option

Whether you are working, about to finish matric or graduate from university, how should you be putting together a break from your job or studies?

For some people the gap year usually gives you some perspective to figure out what you want to do with your life.

Warriors Academy founder Rudi Viljoen says a gap year is an amazing opportunity for young people to truly figure out what they want to do and specifically develop their emotional maturity.

I always say to parents find a place where there is a structured environment... an environment for personal growth and personal development.

He says it is important to do the research. If you are opting for a local experience instead of going oversees you can.

For us the whole concept of emotional growth or fitness is extremely important, so we use adventure as a tool to the trade. Of course we do a lot of other stuff as well from personal branding to entrepreneurship and CV building...
