Mazzone is the DA's first female chief whip and previously served in the DA benches as the shadow minister of public enterprises.

The Democratic Alliance's (DA's) newly appointed chief whip in Parliament Natasha Mazzone says she is up for the task and says her first priority is to stabilise the ship in Parliament.

Mazzone is the DA's first female chief whip and previously served in the DA benches as the shadow minister of public enterprises.

I think one would be naive if we didn't realise that the DA has gone through a period of introspection and it has been turbulent so my first priority is stabilising the ship in Parliament, I want to see continued and sustained excellence form the DA benches...

Natasha Mazzone, DA chief whip

In my party I have never had a man hold me back, I have never felt a patriarchal environment in my party and I certainly look around me and see men supporting me tremendously. I don't think any man is going to have a problem taking instruction from a woman.

Natasha Mazzone, DA chief whip

I don't want to be authoritarian, that is not going to be my approach. I am rather stubborn and assertive but also very inclusive in my approach to how I do work.
