In the midst of celebrations over the weekend for the Springboks Rugby World Cup win, social media was divided over Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) spokesperson Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi's tweet.

Eusebius McKaiser says many people on Twitter do not listen to people with different views from them.

He says Ndlozi's tweet was in bad taste and people should be allowed to celebrate the Springboks victory.

I thought, my God here we have a moment. A moment doesn't transform structural injustices. But no idiot truly thinks that the rugby world cup win will translate into suddenly a post-racism nirvana in South Africa.

Dr Ndlozi thinks you are stupid and you don't know Siya lifting the cup doesn't mean that racism and poverty are gone or Eben is a cool guy. Of course, we know those things.
