MEC of Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure Jacob Mamabolo says a detailed and comprehensive proposal has been made to resolve the e-tolls matter.
Last week, Finance Minister reiterated his position on the user pay principle saying it would remain but some Gauteng residents have continued to reject it.
Mamobolo says he is positive that the proposal they have drafted is convincing. He says residents should await the outcome of the process.
We should be able to reach a point of convergence and consensus on the solution we have proposed for the e-tolls.— Jacob Mamabolo, Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure MEC
