A 100 years birthday gift to remember

Going all out to make a 100-year-old lady's wishes come true.

Gogo Kezia's friend Judy reached out to Tshego Modisane in hope of making the centenary birthday one to remember.

Gogo Kezia has not seen her sister, who lives in KwaZulu-Natal, in 15 years and one of her wishes is to go see her.

Azania Mosaka speaks to Modisane and Judy about their journey with gogo Kezia, as well as Old Mutual head of brand Thobile Tshabalala who has a surprise for her.

We have people who donated her a red velvet cake.

Tshego Modisane

Judy called me during the week and told me there is a lady turning 100 at church and she wanted to make it a big celebration. I spoke to Khabazela and we put it together.

Tshego Modisane

She's got a special request, she says she would really like to have a house of her own, even if it's three-bedroom house.

Tshego Modisane

I am overwhelmed to be in the presence of a 100-year-old. She is an incredible human being.

These are precious and special moments for us as a brand.
