Trapped In Love: Dr Keitumetse Disemelo on overcoming abuse

Clicnical psychologist and Dr Keitumetse Disemmelo has relayed her story of abuse in a book titled Trapped in Love.

She shares how she had to overcome the years of emotional abuse she suffered in a past relationship and how it turned into self-hatred.

She says she did not confront her pain until 2013.

There are many reasons why people don't leave and I think the memoir is just to show that it can happen to anyone.
