It is trying times for Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Proteas as the cricket body is in a state of turmoil.
The relationship between CSA and cricket players is at an all-time low.
The Proteas are facing the biggest tour of the season when they play against England later this month.
To discuss what is going on in South African cricket, Bongani Bingwa chats to CSA chief executive officer Thabang Moroe.
Moroe says even though CSA is going through challenges, he wouldn't say that what the body is going through is a shambolic affair at all.
As far as our four years' forecasted losses position is concerned, we have clearly articulated that we are quite happy with the recovery work we are doing as CSA and we are reducing those losses drastically as we speak.— Thabang Moroe, CEO - CSA
He says the organisation is building a new team after the loss of many Proteas through retirement.
Part of us rebuilding needs us and the public to rally behind the boys and support them as much as we can.— Thabang Moroe, CEO - CSA
