Who will be elected mayor for City of Johannesburg?
The African National Congress's (ANC’s) Geoff Makhubo, the Democratic Alliance's Funzela Ngobeni and the Economic Freedom Fighters' (EFF's) Musa Novela are contesting for the top post.
Last week, the election to replace Herman Mashaba was postponed by speaker Vasco Da Gama to seek opinion on the majority vote.

It has to be the DA by default. The EFF doesn't have any experience of running anything, they have not even run some anything in the rural areas. They should get experience first before running the big city.

Other callers disagreed with Mark on the issue of experience.
I think it is high time the DA guys gave EFF a chance as well. When are they going to give the EFF a chance?
— Glen, Caller
Everyone learns on the job. They must give EFF an opportunity. No one is born with experience.

Yes, they don't have experience in running the municipality because they haven't won anything. The DA must just sit down with the EFF and talk it out. Herman Mashaba didn't have experience but he did very well.
