ANC stalwart Murphy Morobe reflects on the life of the ANC veteran. Turok died on Monday morning at the age of 92.

African National Congress (ANC) stalwart Murphy Morobe says many should emulate what party veteran Ben Turok stood for.

Professor Turok died at the age of 92.

His family says he passed away in the early hours of Monday morning.

There is so much that Ben Turok stood for that many of us can and should live to emulate.

We had such great affinities with Uncle Ben because where the truth is concerned, he would not shy away, which is what we solely need today - to have people who are able to stand up and point out where wrong things are being done by those we have put the responsibility of leadership on.
