Shivambu set to retain EFF deputy presidency via Malema slate, says analyst

The Economic Freedom Fighters will on Friday begin its second National Assembly in Nasrec.

The party's delegates will decide the future of the party and the leaders they want to take the party to new heights at this gathering.

Bongani Bingwa chats to Institute for Global Dialogue political analyst Sanusha Naidu to weigh in on this gathering.

She says in the run-up towards the elective conference, there have been reports that there have been slates in the party.

You have one slate led by Dali Mpofu and then you have the Julius Malema slate, where deputy president Floyd Shivambu seems to be confident to retain that position.
