Eskom moves to stage 1 load shedding

Eskom has moved from stage 2 loadshedding to stage 1 from 16:00.

Earlier in the day the power utility announced that power outages would go on until 23:00.

The parastatal has said it will inform South Africans about the long weekend's forecast.
