IEB 2019 pass rate declines slightly to 98.82%
The Independent Examination Board (IEB) has released the results for the 2019 matric examinations.
There is a slight decrease from the 2018 pass rate of 98.92% as the 2019 pass stands at 98.82%.
The IEB had 11,818 full-time students and 779 part-time candidates for Grade 12 in 2019.
Meanwhile, the results for the National Senior Certificate will be released on 8 January.
