The World Health Association defines sexual health as "a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences free of coercion, discrimination and violence."
Clinical sexologist Dr Eve guides listeners through some of the hurdles to accessing sexual health, as well as how you can attain and maintain it.
In incorporating sexuality as part of your health, Dr Eve says sexual health means that you have the right to access services such as contraception, abortions, PAP smears, prostate check-ups, and conversations about your sexuality with a sex-positive healthcare provider.

Your goals, your values and your beliefs and that you may make them based on what is accurate, affordable and comprehensive education services and resources...— Dr Eve, Clinical sexologist
