'ANC told of how they failed the people of Kimberley'
The African National Congress (ANC) will host a gala dinner tonight ahead of the January 8 mass rally on Saturday.
Party officials have been on community drives in the Northern Cape ahead of the celebrations.
Eyewitness News reporter Clement Manyathela says it will cost people around R60,000 for a seat next to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Manyathela says this is one of the ways the ANC uses top raise funds for the party.
Meanwhile, residents have been raising concerns over service-delivery issues in their communities.
The ANC has been met with quite honest people here in Kimberley and other parts of the Northen Cape. Driving around, you can see how brazen the lack of service delivery is here. You don't need to speak to community members around here.Clement Manyathela, Reporter - EWN
