Policing union calls for reintroduction of specialised units
The South African Policing Union (Sapu) is calling for the re-establishment of specialised units.
The union says this should be a top priority for the South Africa Police Service (SAPS).
Speaking to Joanne Joseph, Sapu's general secretary Oscar Skommere says they can't deal with issues using task teams.
The closing down of these units were made without any research document or any documentation.

Oscar Skommere, General secretary - SAPU
