'Paul Mashatile's attitude demonstrates that he is fundamentally indecent'
Eusebius McKaiser asks if it is decent for employers to pay their staff members after payday?
This follows his interview with African National Congress treasurer-general Paul Mashatile on Monday, where the politician said Luthuli House was not contractually obliged to workers early in December.
The comments by Mashatile sparked a debate on social media about his attitude towards staff salaries.
McKaiser had this to say about Mashatile's response.
The key question is not whether an employer has the legal entitlement to pay staff members on the 27th of December. The question is, is that the decent thing to do?Eusebius McKaiser, Show host
