Deputy Western Cape High Court judge president Patricia Goliath says judge president John Hlope tried to influence the appointment of judges in a case involving former president Jacob Zuma in 2015.
Goliath has laid a formal complaint against Hlophe where she makes several allegations.
Clement Manyathela on the Midday Report chats to EWN reporter Jason Felix who is following this story.
What I gather from the 15-page complaint, this has been coming brewing for years. Deputy judge president Goliath was posted in 2016 and left for the Constitutional Court and came back to the Western Cape and since then the relationship between herself and Hlophe deteriorated.— Jason Felix, Reporter - EWN
Goliath was excluded out of meetings and her duties were delegated to other judges, he reports.
