Mahumapelo applauds steps taken on Coronavirus, stands by comments on Mkhwebane
The Department of Tourism has appeared before the Portfolio Committee on Tourism to present its second quarterly report, including an update on the coronavirus outbreak and its impact on tourism.

Meanwhile, Mahumapelo says he does not regret his comments surrounding Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane.
The African National Congress (ANC) MP was reported to have said that the ANC will not support any motion put forward by the Democratic Alliance (DA) looking into Mkhwebane's fitness to hold office.
The ANC has since distanced itself from his utterances.
