The Employment and Labour Department is urging stakeholders in the film and television industry to make input on the Basic Conditions of Employment Act notice.
The notice seeks to afford actors and crew members the same rights as other workers, including sick leave, minimum wage, maternity leave, and compensation claims for occupational accidents among others.
