Back to work for Zozibini Tunzi as homecoming tour comes to an end

Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi is headed back to New York on Saturday after completing her homecoming tour in South Africa.

Amid her busy schedule, the 26-year-old has already met with and received the backing of the United Nations (UN), who she will collaborate with on a number of initiatives.

She has expressed her excitement at having these projects up and running.

We're literally still in the process of planning out exactly what it is we will do but we are lucky to have the backing of the UN Women. We also will be collaborating with them on a lot of projects that they are working on across Africa and the world.

I was home as well, speaking to people from the department of women and them wanting to do work in the country. I am excited for those things to start picking up and to just speak for women, empower women.
