Houses have been set alight in Parow by community members angry over the murder of eight-year-old Tazne van Wyk.
The body of van Wyk was found in a stormwater pipe outside Worcester on Wednesday night after she was kidnapped nearly two weeks ago.
54-year-old Moehydien Pangaker appeared in the Goodwood Magistrate Court on Friday in connection with the murder.
Community members moved from the court after the case was postponed to April and torched the houses they believed are drug dens and brothels.

The community want the police to do more. In fact, they want to take matters into their own hands where we saw after court proceedings protesters flocked to Parow where they reportedly set fire to several dwellings.— Lizelle Persens, Reporter - Eyewitness News
They (protesters) say they received information that little Tazne had reportedly been held captive at one of the drug dens or brothels in the Parow area.— Lizelle Persens, Reporter - Eyewitness News
They also smashed and overturned a vehicle in front of these homes that are believed to be a drug then, they also set fire to a block of flats.— Lizelle Persens, Reporter - Eyewitness News
