Load shedding to be suspended at 5pm, resumes on Sunday
Eskom has announced it will suspend power cuts on Saturday at 5pm, but load shedding will resume on Sunday at 8am.
The power utility says it expects to make a full recovery by Monday.
"Two generation units have successfully returned to service earlier than expected this morning and the pumped-storage schemes have recovered adequately, setting us on a good course to full recovery by Monday morning."
