A report by Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has made adverse findings against Lesedi Municipality in Sedibeng.
The report seen by Eyewitness News implicates former and current senior officials.
The municipality has been in the news from last year over stoppages of major projects and allegations of misconduct against mayor Lerato Maloka.

There were three key findings that were made by the Public Protector the first one being the appointment of Malekola maDlamini Melato, who was appointed around 2016 to a senior position of the executive mayor.— Edwin Ntshidi, Reporter - Eyewitness News

Ntshidi says the Public Protector has said the Lesedi Municipality must consider initiating proceedings to probe whether maDlamini fabricated her qualifications on her CV.
She (Mkhwebane) is also saying if you want to take the report on a review you should do that in 60 days.— Edwin Ntshidi, Reporter - Eyewitness News
