There’s been a huge discussion in the UK, over the last week about introducing a tax on sugar – in a bid to get people to simply eat less of the stuff whether it be in sugary drinks, sweets or other food products.
Ten years ago this idea would have been simply laughed at – now it seems that many people are campaigning for it. Many people would think logically and rationally that they should not buy that sweet – or chocolate but they go and buy it anyway.
Stephen asks dietician, Jane Badham if this suggests that people are not rational about sugar in the end.
