10 tips for people who want to workout at home
Fitness enthusiast and healthy lifestyle expert David Katz shares advice for effective solo workouts amid the coronavirus outbreak.
These are his top 10 tips:
- plan your workout sessions
- set yourself some goals
- dress comfortably
- always remember to warm up beforehand
- download a playlist if you need music to get you going
- put your phone on flight mode and find ways to connect with what you're doing
- when you need a change of scene, try the outdoors
- keep proper gear on hand and improvise with households items around you
- stay hydrated and refuel after your session
- log your workout details to stay on track
A lot of the stuff that you can do at gym, you can also do at home.
