Creative parenting expert Nikki Bush warns against having the television on for 24 hours in the background.

Creative parenting expert Nikki Bush advises parents to talk to their children about COVID-19 and find out what they know.

Bush says coronavirus does cause fear and anxiety to the children as well.

The Department of Education had to close schools early due to the epidemic.

Speaking to Azania Mosaka, Bush says the children might know more than parents think.

We must start the conversation by asking 'what have you heard'? Listen to them and understand them and also don't minimise what they share with you.

Nikki Bush, Creative Parenting Expert

If you are at home with your kids do not keep 24 hours of TV in the background.
