Matric revision podcast by Gauteng Education Department --- working with 702
Matriculants may be having a tough time catching up with their learning as normal due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
To assist pupils, the Gauteng Education Department has adopted several steps to be taken to ensure education is not compromised.
Working with Talk Radio 702, the department will ensure that pupils can access their matric revision podcast programme.
The department's provincial curriculum director Antoinette Nicolaai has the details.
That programme is to ensure that all our matric learners are able to access the podcast lessons at anytime that is suitable for them in the comfort of their homes as they are urged to work independently at home as well as under supervision of parents, guardians and caregivers.Antoinette Nicolaai, Provincial curriculum director - Gauteng Education Department
Each of the podcast lessons has been selected from key curriculum content topics for term two, these learners, if they were at school, would have received face to face lessons from their teachers on these topics. The lessons focus on key concepts that learners need to know on each of the identified topics.Antoinette Nicolaai, Provincial curriculum director - Gauteng Education Department
