The History of the Public Protector's Role

Jenny Crwys-Williams sits down for an interview with Swedish Ombudsman, Elisabet Fura whose role is the same of that is the Public Protector in South Africa.

In the interview Fura explains how the first Public Protector, an office which is now a crucial part of any democracy, was first appointed by a Swedish King many years ago. She also explains the nitty gritty of where the Public Protector's role fits into the democracy.
