A convey of MPs, officials and media have arrived at the gates to Zuma’s home in Nkandla. They’re part of the parliamentary Ad Hoc committee that is investigating the police ministers’s response to the public protector’s report - that found Zuma should repay some of the alleged R260 million spent by government on Nkandla. COPE and EFF have made a point of not being a part of the visit.
They will get a tour of the firepool, ampitheatre - most of the features of the homestead that were problematic in the Nkandla Report.
EWN’s Rahima Essop reports on what she saw on the tour.
