The Friday Stand-In 2016

#FridayStandIn Former hard hitting newsman Songezo Zibi takes to the airwaves

Former Business Day editor Songezo Zibi says he wants to engage listeners about the meaning of a 'transformed, free and democratic society' on his #FridayStandIn show.

Zibi says he will also bring his knowledge in economics and discuss how ways that economic language can be made accessible, so that ordinary citizens can be part of the conversation.

The first is to have a discussion about what do we mean be a transformed, free and democratic society, and whether our behaviour reflect the transformation we say we want in society and how can we deal with some of that inconsistency in what we do.

Songezo Zibi, Friday stand-in

I want us to break down the complicated language because some of the complicated language around the economy exclude a lot of people from its implications, very ordinary people.
