New bug targeting Android phones via MMS

Over 950 million Android phones users are at risk of being hacked due to a bug in their system.

All it could take is one MMS message for your camera, recorder, media files and messages to be remotely hacked on your phone.

CapeTalk presenter Kieno Kammies spoke with the Manuel Corregedor, Operations Manager at Wolf Pack Risk Analysis, about how Android users can protect themselves against the vulnerability.

We're talking about 'Stagefright', which is quite a major Android vulnerability that can potentially affect all users. You can get infected via MMS. Through that MMS they can take over your device. It is quite a scary one.
