CapeTalk presenter Kieno Kammies followed up on the lottery claims issue, with Ithuba's Public Relations Zuki Nomnganga, after concerns from a CapeTalk caller.
The machines should be able to read all ticket including the previous operator tickets from Gidani. Players should be able to go to any retailer or post office and check if they've won and claim their winnings.— Zuki Nomnganga, Public Relations at Ithuba
According to Nomnganga, cash claims valued up to R2 000 can be paid out at any retailer. Winnings between R2 000 and R50 000 will be paid out at the nearest post office.
She says lottery customers can call the following number for information regarding the nearest retailer: 0800 484 822
