The theft of over a hundred South African visa applications and confidential documents (marriage certificates etc.) has raised concerns.
This after a courier vehicle was hijacked in Johannesburg earlier in the week. It appears the vehicle was specifically targeted for its contents. The visa applications in the van were for the British Commission.
Those affected are not only concerned about identity theft and fraud but are also worried about the delays from the embassy in issuing new visa’s to the UK.
